A 40 minute employability skills lesson which was created for www.liketobe.org - an online networking platform which helps to raise student aspirations by connecting educators & students with employers and professionals for real world career guidance. This is the ninth of 12 sessions which will cover all aspects of employability skills, as well as serve as a step-by-step guide for schools and students that are signed up to the LikeToBe website.
This ninth session is all about the importance of literacy and numeracy skills, how we can acquire them and how we can demonstrate our proficiency in these to employers.
All of these resources are three way differentiated, engaging and challenging. They are best suited to KS4 or KS5 students and each lasts 40 minutes.
