Free poetry and vocabulary exercise in which students are given 16 ‘as’ phrases that refer to familiar Halloween characters (e.g. as … as a brownie) which they must complete with creative comparisons of their own.

Designed for Halloween, this exercise can also be used for teaching poetry, boosting writing skills, and building vocabulary all year round. Suitable for children in Year 5 and Year 6 (Key Stage 2). Can also be used with children in Year 7 (Key Stage 3).
