Using the flash cards, introduce the English words to describe the feelings of Niko the greyhound.
Practice pronouncing each word as a class. Encourage children to change the volume, tone
and pitch of their voice, or make a face to match the emotion to help them remember the words.
Hand out copies of the flash cards then re-read the story in English. When the children hear you say their word they hold the flash card up.
