A full lesson covering the Islamic beliefs about the afterlife.

A well structured and detailed lesson cover the key Islamic beliefs on the after life. This presentation follows a clear structure with a starter activity, encouraging the pupils to think about the afterlife. Following this there is a video clip to meet different learning needs and then a good range of information on the slides to meet different learning needs. There are a great range of AFL activities for pupils to complete within the lesson to ensure sufficient progress is being made and also a plenary to assess the level of progress pupils have made. Therefore, this lesson can be used exactly how it has been laid out but can also easily be adapted. A lesson generally targeted for GCSE pupils but can easily be tailored for key stage 3 pupils.

Hope this lesson promotes strong learning outcomes in your lessons and please leave a review.

Quite a basic lesson in terms of activities and the way it's presented - not very visually appealing, a video to watch, two gap fills and then information. Main task is a storyboard - I'd be concerned about doing a storyboard seeing as Allah, the Prophets, angels, etc should not be drawn in Islam. 3 stars for the information which would be useful to someone who has not covered this topic before for Islam, 2 stars for the activities.
