GCSE GERMAN: 500 German verbs reference book, alphabetical German-English and English-German - we use this as a year-round reference resource, and my students find it particularly useful for exam revision, whether working in class time or at home.
I actually use these kinds of reference books throughout my German programmes, not only as we approach exam time - they’re a really valuable and comprehensive reference resource for students, and I also use them for quick vocab quizzes at frequent and regular intervals - simply shout out the German or English verb, the first team to shout out the correct answer wins a point - it’s a great vocab quiz for vocab recall practice and revision.
The topics/themes covered by these verbs address all UK examination boards, and are a great guide for intermediate into advanced German in general.
We use the Notes and Next Steps template to think about progress and recall - students find this really useful, and do like to map and track their own progress.
This is a 42-page reference booklet - I’ve found the most user-friendly format is to photocopy double-sided, with two staples down the left-hand side.
