Flip learning lesson with exam practice. Give students the section of the textbook (see PDF) and to read for homework. Then next lesson they have already learnt about Diwali from the homework. Go through new learning on other Hindu festivals. Students then plan out an answer with the structure provided to a 15 mark exam question and then peer assess using mark scheme. Worked really well with my Y11’s
