Using and punctuating quotes in a newspaper task. A full 'outstanding observed' lesson quality lesson including lesson plan and presentations. The children will think about questions to ask Howard Carter (about his discovery of Tutankhamen's tomb) and then hot seat to gather quotes to add in to a newspaper text. Both questions activity worksheets and newspaper quotes worksheets are differentiated to suit 3 ability groups. All files are Word or PowerPoint. Word mat included to prompt children on collected quotes and helpful spellings to help them with the activity.
