Targeted at lower ability Years 9 and 10, this lesson aims to ask students to consider what poetry is with a view to making poetry more relevant and accessible to them. It also introduces some of the elements of the AQA Love and Relationships Anthology.
In addition, this lesson is suitable for introducing students to thinking about some of the analytical skills necessary for the AQA Poetry specification.
It is suitable for higher ability Year 8 students as well.
