.

Beuys developed a radical art-concept of ‘Social Sculpture’, as he explained clearly in his writings and talks. Moreover he commented his famous performance act with a coyote (see right image), in ‘I like America…’ and the many famous art ‘Objects’ he made, like his art-works ‘Fat Chair’ and ‘Fat Corners’. It was the ‘Fat’ that was one of his favorite mediums to create art.

Beuys’s artist quotes are an essential part of modern art development between 1950 - 1975 in Germany and later the U.S., because he was strongly focused on the relation Art & Society. He felt himself connected with the famous American Pop Art artist Andy Warhol;, they made art-trips together in Italy and talked a lot about art.
