A weeks cross curricular planning and resources for adverts (literacy) based on Tudor houses (history). This planning was designed for a Year 5 class, but can easily be tweaked for other year groups/ability level.
Documents include: Planning, flipchart (inspire software, but easily imported into Smart), rhetorical question starters, a boring advert for children to improve and a Tudor house challenge that is based on children answering questions using their knowledge from that week.
