Language for Literature and Narrative Poems 4 SoW Bundle

Pupils need to talk and write about many aspects of the texts they use. To do this well they need to be familiar with the major technical terms. B and D Publishing’s two Language for Literature schemes of work spanning key stages 3 and 4 aim to give pupils a sound understanding of many literary terms. These are explained and illustrated by examples. Work is provided for pupils to do on each topic.

Two packs are included - Language for Literature Series One and Language for Literature Series Two, with each scheme of work suitable for KS3 and KS4 students.

Three Narrative Poems contains the full, copyright free text of the three poems – The Pied Piper of Hamelin by Robert Browning, The Lady of Shalott by Alfred, Lord Tennyson and The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes.

Three More Narrative Poems contains the full, copyright free text of John Gilpin by William Cowper, Goblin Market by Christina Rossetti and Morte D’Arthur by Alfred, Lord Tennyson.

There are notes and differentiated worksheets on each poem. Suitable for KS3 and/or KS4 students. All of our packs can also be used by pupils for revision and home learning.
