This is the first of a three-lesson series introducing linear graphs and drawing Linear Graphs. It goes through what linear graphs are, how they are linked to coordinates, how to use tables and how to draw them. This lesson concentrates on lines parallel to the axes and ones in the form x + y = n. The lesson after follows on by looking at linear functions in the form y = mx + c. This lesson is ready to go, with no prep required. It is also great for home learning. 15-slide presentation + lots of extra resources.

This lesson includes:

+ Starter (on coordinates to help make the link)
+ Lesson objectives (differentiated)
