Making a Wagasa miniature Umbrella
A very simplistic but good way to get students involved and learning about Wagasas (umbrellas) and the function and cultural context behind them
This was an activity I used for the students when hosting them during a Japanese and Anime Society session. The outcomes were fantastic and it allows students to include their own designs or interests to this activity.
