A great set of Resources that covers in detail the first topic of the book: ‘The British Experience of Warfare c.1790-1918’. It covers the reasons why British military forces needed a change, the McNeill and Tulloch report, the Gardel’s reform and the Haldane’s reform. It is ideal for A-Level students.

In this set of resources you can find:

  • a well organised ppt presentation with many useful pieces of information that your students can copy
  • several activities like tables,
  • many questions, and key points to discuss and to have a debate.

This lesson is very easy to teach. You just need to follow the instruction on power point presentation. Every ppt slide has clear instructions about the lesson.
