Mind Your P's and Q's

These activities are designed for use as a starter or plenary in KS3 or KS4 English. There is also the possibility of use as providing meaningful “cover” work or as an activity for tutor time. There are 6 different challenges which all follow the same format although there is increasing difficulty with each challenge.
Each challenge requires students to deduce 4 words from the English language that
contain the letters P and Q. Length of word is shown by number of asterisks. There is also the option of printing monochrome slides for use in a cover lesson or as a basic homework task. The whole presentation contains 21 slides with clearly marked hyperlinks embedded throughout for ease of navigation.
