Netflix documentary: Night on Earth - Frozen Nights

Great for geography lessons at Christmas!

Question worksheet to accompany the Netflix documentary Night on Earth: Frozen Nights, episode 2. Planned with a KS3 group in mind who are studying polar environments or adaptation in different ecosystems, but equally could be used for students as part of a place based study such as the Arctic. A teacher answer sheet is provided and there are optional extension / homework tasks to round up ideas from this documentary.

Locations include: Arctic, Alaska, northern forests, Japan

Documentary length: 44 minutes

Adaptation to different environments
Characteristics of hunters in Arctic environments
Animal adaptation for darkness and colder climates
