This is a set of detailed notes describing the features and functions of each stage in a child’s spoken development.
This covers…

  • Pre-verbal stage
  • Holophrastic stage
  • Two-word stage
  • Telegraphic stage
  • Post-telegraphic stage
These are very informative of the features and statistics surrounding the language development in each stage and give generic examples of these. They are typed up on a document making them as informative as possible meaning the information can then be transferred and used in different ways.
These are ideal for people who have just been introduced to the stages or need a guide of what each stage consists of. The format also makes them very useful in terms of revising the stages.
These were made applicable to A-Level English Language, on the exam board, Edexcel.
