Overcoming Forces Misconception of Normal and Newton's 3rd Law Lesson

This full lesson aimed at KS3 or KS4 starts by challenging the misconception that solids do not push up and finishes with a 9-1 graded exam question on Newton’s 3rd law. It last approx 1 hour and contains several practicals for students to explore which challenge their ideas about the Normal force. It then moves onto explaining Newton’s 3rd Law, gives some real life examples and an exam question to assess students understanding.

It contains a lesson ppt, a detailed lesson plan, exam question and resources to print.
