Game Description:
This game features a game board with nine famous animated film characters, Po, Boo, Remy, Alex, Shrek, Puss in Boots, Nemo, Lightening McQueen, and Red. You can play with up to eight individual players or eight teams. Each character on the game board has squares numbered 1-4. These are links to the thirty-six-character clues (multiple-choice questions). Each character also has a group of boxes for players to mark the square as theirs, and a scoreboard to keep track of their points. The game includes an introductory slide with the topic, a wait for another clue slide (incorrect answer), a keep playing slide (a correct answer), and a winner celebration slide for a total of forty-four slides. All of the slides have different character sounds triggered by a button or transition to the slide. Every game slide has buttons to go back to the game board or the instructions.
Notes:
We use the same target words and phrases on all of the resources created for one topic. This is done intentionally to reinforce the basic vocabulary and grammar structures for each topic. Therefore, you can use our worksheets, board and card games, exams and other PowerPoint games and presentations as complimentary activities for this game.
