’Graffiti: Creatures, Figures & Monsters’ - funny street art in Amsterdam City
I pictured these images from the wall-paintings and other urban art, in my own city Amsterdam

I sometimes meet pictures of Weird Figures in the streets of my city Amsterdam: Strange funny Creatures, sometimes even they have become little Monsters. Each of them can be the start of a fairy-tale from the city: ‘What happened before with that stupid beast and how does the story continue?’ A short city-story, with these creatures in the street-art as the main figure.

I like to make photos of these weird imaginations in Amsterdam, the city where I live. They come and disappear!
They tell me their story in an image; so I picture them! Each one can become the start of a fairy-tale: ‘What happened before with that strange Creature en will it find its way?’ I see them as ‘fairy-tales from the city’ with the weird figures as main figure. I enjoy it every time when I discover them and I try to imagine their story.

I hope children will enjoy one of the pictures - I advice to let them choose for themself, so they can identify with it. Perhaps they can start to write or tell their own story of it. I really like to to read them, if possible; my email is fons-1951@outlook.com. Perhaps I can publish them here on TES, in this same resource?! Connection between words and pictures - I do believe in it!

All images here are in high resolution and free to download and to print. The quality is high enough to print them in rather large size, so maybe as a poster on the wall…
