I use these to reinforce reading half note, whole note, quarter note, and eighth note notation. In addition, we are able to discuss use of measure, double bar line, and more! This is a great way to get your kids reading rhythm!

Neither Jingle Bell Rock nor Sleigh Ride mention the word “Christmas” so these may be perfect for those who cannot use the word Christmas in their lessons.
Jingle Bell Rock uses the “syncopa” syncopation rhythm. There are two versions of “Sleigh Ride” - one that uses sixteenth notes, and sixteenth/eighth note combinations. I also included an easier version without sixteenth notes. Please download the preview to see all rhythms included.
