This lesson plan is based on the short film “Morado”. Short films are a fantastic way to motivate your students in class.
Students will practice all the communicative skills and work in pairs and groups.
The grammar content of the activities is:
- present and present continuous
- different between “ser” and “estar” / “ser”, “estar” and “haber”
- future tense
- past tense (preterito perfecto o indefinido)
- adjectives and nouns
- prepositions

Students will use the communicative skills to express opinion, advice, to describe people and places, to evaluate people’s actions and free time activities and talk about the past (what someone has done o did).

The topics to debate in class are: adolescence, free time activities and solitude, the use of social media and new technologies.
