This presentation was developed from a cross curricular form time activity in which the students were directed to discover as much as possible about their own city. There are 5 different challenges, one for each day of the cross curricular week, and the students were challenged in groups to find or deduce the correct answers as quickly as possible using a number of research tools.
Following requests from other colleagues, I developed the presentation to cover a number of other major British towns and cities. The whole presentation contains 13 slides with hyperlinks embedded throughout
