Very busy slides. Many factual mistakes such as 'context: Shelley's message, in a time when the British Monarch, Elizabeth I, wielded great power is clear'. There is consideration of how' Ozymandias' might be a reaction to the English sonnet but not on how he adapted the Italian form. Comments such as 'Shelley breaks traditional conventions... for example caesura is used to stagger the flow of iambic pentameter' also suggest a lack of knowledge of the Shakespeare's sonnets. No consideration of the Volta or much else in any detail. 'Colossal wreck' is described as an oxymoron - it isn't. On the slides for 'London' the writer misses, entirely the idea that the 'harlot's curse' is venereal disease that is passed to the husbands, wives and children thus resulting in the marriage hearse. The readings and analysis is all rather simplistic, sweeping and C grade. I have been a member since 2010 and this is the first resource I have felt compelled to review. I feel cheated of £20 as this is no good for my top ability group. I reviewed this yesterday and was called a liar by the resource maker.

Whilst expensive, I found this to be a great time-saver as regards visuals and the class found it engaging throughout. Lots of proof reading needed hence the four stars.

This resource is visually very engaging and the tasks push students towards the AOs. However, it is littered with grammatical and factual mistakes. I think that it is a good start for teachers, but it must be carefully proofread before using with your classes.

I bought this resource at its original price of £30. Overall, the quality is very high; the PPTs are visual, and it makes reference to the new assessment objectives. The reason that I rate this at 4 stars is because, in places, the PPTs have grammatical errors - such as 'rational' being typed 'rationale', and apostrophes which are inaccurate or missing. This might seem pedantic, but at £30 I think a 4 star rating is justified!
