This is a PowerPoint presentation to show to the class, or for kids to use at home. They read the words and sing along to the song decem urnae (Ten Bottles) to the tune of Ten Green Bottles.
It is easy to learn, teaches the numbers one to ten in Latin, and for the linguistically aware it also teaches pendet/pendent 3rd person singular/plural and una urna/duae urnae singular/plural.
I have added a fun visual and audio shattering as each slide transitions to show a bottle falling to the ground and shattering.
My Year 6 Latin class, who are beginner Latin students, love this.
