The Science Wordsearch Collection 1

Activities are designed for use as a starter or plenary in KS3 Science. There is also the possibility of use as providing meaningful “cover” work or as homework activities. There are 6 different challenges which all follow the same format. A word search based on a topic from KS3 syllabus is presented in 4 different ways to allow an element of differentiation, 2 of the presentations are in print friendly monochrome fo potentially support non specialist teachers or a cover lesson. The activity can be a springboard for extended research tasks e g list of properties of elements, dates of scientists achievements etc. The whole presentation contains 33 slides with hyperlinks embedded throughout.
