Transport - Nine Songs

This is my collection of songs on the subject of transport. The first song, “Then and Now”, compares a pony and trap with the modern motor car. Several songs cover the more common forms of transport. “Look Around” and "Traffic Signs” encourage the children to be aware of many of the various signposts they are likely to see.

“We’re Off” is freely available on TES and is in my shop.

This set of nine songs consists of:

• 18 mp3 files, with both vocal and piano backing tracks
• a PDF of the music and lyrics with helpful teacher’s notes
• an illustrated PowerPoint of each song for use with digital projectors and whiteboards. The audio tracks, vocal and instrumental, are embedded in the PowerPoint - you just have to click on the relevant icon to select vocal or piano only. An additional PowerPoint is included with stave notation.
• a separate Word document containing the lyrics.
