This is a scheme of work for Key Stage 3 pupils which builds and develops on the new GCSE criteria and Assessment Objectives (particularly for AQA).
It comes complete with 14 lessons, PPTs (with notes), handouts and lesson plans and has been designed to be interactive, engaging and catering for a range of learning styles. The activities are varied, the poems are challenging but the pupils' enjoyment is key.
It has been created with year 8 in mind but could be suitable for any Key Stage 3 class across a range of abilities due to the nature of the poems I have included.
