World Cup 2022 activity bundle - wordsearch, flag labelling, quiz

Enjoy time with your kids in the last weeks of term - or be patient enough until November 2022 - and get into the spirit of the World Cup!

The World Cup tournament can be much more just about football. Take the opportunity with the kids to enjoy activities which will not only encourage talk about the game, but also about the different countries and continents taking part (language, currency, food, best know export etc), flag designs, country name spellings (and meanings) and many other discussions arising from the whistle-stop history tour via the quiz.

This wonderful bundle for the World Cup 2022 contains the following:

• an enjoyable wordsearch for the 32 teams in the World Cup 2022 tournament

• a fun activity in which kids need to name the team / country by looking at the flag on the ball

• a 22-question World Cup Quiz, with some questions that may likely need researching! There are two versions of the quiz:
  - Version 1 is 1 page, and will most likely require research for a few of the questions - good for a really challenging task! (They could always write their best guess)
  -Version 2 has the questions more spaced out over two pages and also has an answer bank for kids to choose their answers from (although a couple of questions may still need some research :) )

With any of these activities, why not get the kids to also make their predictions for the World Cup 2022 Winners and Runners up? Maybe get a wall chart up as well :)
