This is the booklet I use with my year 9 classes. It is completed over a 10 week period where there are 15 lessons.
The work is to help build the skills required for NEA 1 and NEA 2 at GCSE. It introduces the basic skills including how to conduct an investigation, how to record results, how to research and how to produce detailed time plans. Pupils are encouraged to work as a team for the investigation work then independently for a food preparation task.
