In Real Life: A Lesson in Online Bullying Video Guide

In Real Life: A Lesson in Online Bullying Video Guide

"In Real Life is a social experiment that shows what happens when online bullying is taken offline. " What do online hate comments look like when they are said in real life? How do victims react? How do the attackers look? How do the people witnessing such social attacks respond? Our actions behind a screen matter! This is a video guide to accompany this 2 minute Youtube video. There is a pre-viewing question and follow-up reflective questions. This is a good video to bring up the topics of sexual, religion and general bullying. The video does include some pretty tough put downs and personal attacks, which makes it best suited for older students. Sexual orientation, body image, generally rudeness and religion are the topics. Overall the video clip has a positive wrap up with bystanders standing up for others. Total time should take about 15 minutes with some discussion. The file is in PDF, Word and a fillable Word form. This way you can print the handout for students to write on or share it for them to easily fill out on their devices as a Word form. Thanks! Follow me for more product updates!
