Casa y Muebles Juego de siete Familias

Casa y Muebles Juego de siete Familias

House and Furniture in Spanish. Print on cardstock and cut apart into individual cards. Make 1 set for every 2-6 students. The object of the game is to collect a full family - 6 cards. The player with the most families at the end is the winner. Deal 6 cards per person. Remaining cards are placed in a draw pile. Player 1 asks a player of his/her choice for a card belonging to a specific family. In order to make the request, the player must already have at least 1 card belonging to that family. “En la familia (sala), busco (specific card).” If that player has the card, he/she hands it over. Player 1 continues asking for cards until he/she does not get what is requested, at which time he/she draws a card from the pile. Player 2 then takes his/her turn.

New Spanish GCSE - Theme 2 (Local... areas of interest). Writing exam: 90-word questions

New Spanish GCSE - Theme 2 (Local... areas of interest). Writing exam: 90-word questions

This booklet contains eight questions that follow the format of the 90-word questions in the new Spanish GCSE writing exam. They cover all aspects of Theme 2 (Local, national, international and global areas of interest), and they can be used in lessons, but also as an easy way to set useful homework activities for the students. All questions include four bullet points that the students are prompted to cover, and they explicitly require them to include references to three time frames and opinions (as per the AQA mark scheme). When possible, one of the bullet points starts with 'qué hiciste', a question which appears in many of the AQA samples and that some students often fail to understand. A similar booklet including questions for themes 1, 2 and 3 can be found in this link: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/new-spanish-gcse-writing-exam-practice-90-word-questions-11820179

Foundation level 2. Higher level with a colour coded system to highlight the more complex structures and extra tenses. Both texts include opinion phrases, different tenses and are translated in English to help comprehension. I have added the AQA recommended vocabulary from the section "HOME, TOWN, NEIGHBOURHOOD AND REGION". Fully editable and once downloaded just remove the boxes to see the texts.
