A comprehensive bundle of PPTs with detailed analysis and specific activities that relate to the IOC for HL IB course with the global issue of Power / Politics / Justice. However, these resources can also be used to simply teach the text as an option for HL essay and / or a basis of appraoching unseen prose for paper 1.

This is a fairly detailed and structured break down of Carter’s short story. This has been used as a spring board text to develop the skill set required for students to access Paper 1 unseen. However, this can also be used as a potential HL essay text. Teachers must still be familiar with the text to guide discussions and group task feedback.
