I achieved an A* in AQA English Literature A Level. Here is a table of the top quotations for Gatsby, with LSF analysis, followed by analysis/ key themes/ context link/ critic!! Learn these quotations and you will be sorted for almost every theme they could ask, as they are all highly flexible.

This is a sheet of all of the key context points to use for Cat on a Hot Tin Roof - I have condensed the information into effective yet short nuggets which can be easily placed into an essay to secure top marks.

All essay plans I used to achieve A*.

I have made a table of all possible themes (20!) with a definition of the theme (as I always define the theme in the introduction which allows me to break it down into an essay plan), synonyms (so vocab is varied throughout the essay) and a mini essay plan (3 points for 3 paragraphs). Most of my essay plans repeated as most themes overlap/ mean the same thing. Having 4 main essay plans which you can use for any Q means you will never be caught out in the exam! :)

Included are clear and condensed revision notes (including facts and figures) for all of the CCP campaigns, the laogai system, the Korean War, the new power structure, the PLA and the problems in 1949. I have also included a key terms sheet with a list of techincal words and their definitions. LEARN THESE DETAILS AND YOU WILL HAVE ALL OF THE CONTENT NEEDED FOR AN A STAR! :)

I achieved an A* in Edexcel A Level History - here are all of the revision sheets I used for Theme 2: Gaining control of the localities. Included are clear and condensed revision notes (including facts and figures) for attacks on wales, the north, borough rep, literacy rates, JPs, taxation, the poor laws, patronage and royal progresses. LEARN THESE DETAILS AND YOU WILL HAVE ALL OF THE CONTENT NEEDED FOR AN A STAR! :) Making these tables took days so this will save you so much time, and you will still be able to come out with the same grade as me!

I ACHIEVED 120/120 ON THE PHILOSOPHY PAPER OF THE 2018 RS EXAM, AND AN A STAR OVERALL, AND AM NOW GOING TO STUDY PHILOSOPHY AT CAMBRIDGE UNI :) --> If aiming for A or A star, these notes are invaluable. I have put together my revision sheets for ALL the Philosophy topics - Plato, Aristotle, Mind Body Soul, Cosmological, Teleological, Ontological, Religious Experience, Problem of Evil, Attributes of God, Religious Language, Religious Language 20th Century! I came up with the six main topics they could ask essay questions on for comparison of Cat and The Help (AQA English lit) and listed the main judicious quotations to be used for each! I took these quotations from a number of resources, and have chosen the ones with the most value i.e. best for language analysis, context, comparative features, length to write down etc. Learn these quotes and you will be sorted for any essay question!

Here are all of my essay plans for all of the possible Qs for a comparison of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and The Help! They are structured as follows: Each plan has three paragraphs and each paragraph has its subject matter listed in black capitals. Each paraghraph contains a character/ relationship from Cat and a one from The Help - the chosen pairs are obviously related in some way and are able to be compared well. Under the character/ relationship is two or three main quotations and a context point (in orange) and a critical opinion (purple). The plans are condensed yet include everything needed for A star - I have written them all out in under one hour. These are all you need to learn for A star grade.

Here are all of my essay plans for the Philosophy paper of the 2018 OCR Religious Studies exam. I have structured the plans as follows: First I’ve made Line of Argument (LOA) Tables which outline my response to the four main key questions of the topic, listed on the exam mark scheme on the website. The exam questions they have asked and put in text books are based around these four questions so if you have a pre-prepared essay plan for them (which you can adapt) you’re pretty much sorted. I structure my response by listing two lines of argument I will reject (forming the first two paragraphs) and then the loa I accept (forming the last paragraph). After the table I have the individual plans for each question (and other similar questions I have found from various resources). I outline an intro and then fill out three paragraphs/ sections. P1 and P2 are structured with an argument (one I reject), a counter argument, a rebuttal, and finally a counter rebuttal. P3 is structured with an argument (my accepted argument) a counter argument and a rebuttal (ending on my argument). I then outline a conclusion. Each plan is colour co-ordinated and includes loads of relevant scholars, with their points/ quotes condensed into one to two lines so you can write everything down in time/ learn the plans easily. These essay plans basically cover EVERYTHING you need for an A star. They took me two years to perfect. I learnt them off by heart and achieved 100% in the exam :)

I achieved an A* in edexcel histroy a level - here are my revision notes for the tudor rebellions (kett’s rebellion, challenging the succession/ warbeck and simnel, northern earls, pilgrimage of grace). I have summarised the edexcel textbook in clear and condensed grids, laying out the information in accordance with all the possible types of essay questions that could be asked. I don’t have a single sheet for Tyrone’s rebellion, but the info for that is included on the “nugget list” which condenses the notes even further (perfect for revising the week before!!).
