Bundle
Drama Home Learning Bundle
This is a bundle of Drama home learning resources that have been used with KS3 students - but could be easily adapted to KS4.
There are 8 weeks of content - with each week giving students an option of tasks to select from.
Drama bingo!
This is a Drama bingo card that can be used to challenge learners when devising Drama.
This can be done to challenge HAP learners, or can be used as a challenge for students to complete against one another (who can get a line or house, first)
Students can receive rewards for completing bingo to engage and motivate learners.
BTEC Tech Comp 1 PA - boardgame
This is a boardgame created to engage learners in component 1 of the BTEC Tech Award in Performing Arts.
There are two games - one for the Dance and one for the Drama pathway.
The boardgame includes our set works (West Side Story, Revelations, Swansong, Blood Brothers and Teechers) but is easily adapted to suit your own set works.
Students can roll a dice to decide which questions to answer and in which order. It can be done as a game between peers or a solo task.
Drama skills home learning menu
This is a menu that i have used as part of KS3 students home learning.
The intention of the menu is to allow students to develop their understanding of performance skills.
Bundle
KS3 Drama - Remote Learning bundle
This bundle includes 2 units of work (6 lessons each).
Both units have been used for remote learning and for the delivery of live lessons.
One unit looks at Romeo and Juliet and the other improvisation, with the focus of students developing a script about being stranded on a desert island.
Each lesson has a PowerPoint Presentation
Each unit has a knowledge organiser.
Each unit has an end of topic assessment
There are opportunities for performance and creative tasks, such as script writing.
Lessons includes video examples for students to analyse.
Creative tasks have modelled examples to support students.
Age Related Expectations Drama - Year 7
This is a copy of our new assessment criteria in KS3 Drama.
This is based on ‘Age Related Expectations’ and includes the criteria for meeting these and also for achieving ‘Greater Depth’.
Each criteria is linked to areas of the National Curriculum in which this covers.
Pictures as a stimulus
This is a selection of images that can be used as a stimulus for creative writing. For each image there is a caption which could also assist the creative process. These images have also been used in my KS3 drama lessons as starting points for drama.
An intro to dance
This is a lesson which was used as an introduction to the elements of dance, students create each task to build their own routine.
James Bond Dance
This is a SOW used with year 8 as an introduction to dance. Students create a routine based on James Bond, the styles explores include capoeira and street. This was really successful with boys!
Drama additional activities
These were designed for students who are removed, or cannot take part in practical dance or drama.

BTEC performing arts (dance pathway) student booklet NEW TECH AWARD 2017!
A booklet to help students collect evidence for all three components of the new technical award in performing arts. This includes:
- Research Task
- Key term help sheets
- Student logs
Each success criteria is covered for each component.
Drama devising help sheet
This is a sheet which allows students to document their use of drama devices within the devising process. There is also a help sheet, explaining and reminding students of the key devices, to support their development. Worked really well with my GCSE group!
KS3 Drama SOW - Injustice *fully resourced*
This is a seven week SOW based around injustice throughout history. This explores slavery, Rosa Parks, The Civil Rights Movement and Hillsborough.
This includes a detail SOW with key assessment points, assessment and evaluation sheets and a PowerPoint for each lesson, with resources. The SOW includes clear differentiation opportunities, which are also available on the PowerPoint presentation.
I have completed this with year seven, however it is also suitable for year 8.

BTEC Performing Arts Tech Award - Dance *Component One, Set work analysis teacher example*
This includes two PP’s that demonstrate an example of how students should analyse professional works. Students are asked to create a PowerPoint to analyse each work in line with the component one criteria and then will use these three to compare and contrast ready for their Component one assessment.
TSLAP poetry anaylsis worksheets *KS3/KS3 English Lit AQA*
This includes a PowerPoint to introduce TSLAP analysis (theme, structure, language, attitude of the poet, personal response).
It also includes a range of worksheets to support TSLAP analysis in relation to poems e.g.
- An analysis poetry structure strip
-A comparison table
- A writing 'frame'
This is used throughout KS3 and KS4 to analyse poetry at our school.
Component 1 BTEC Drama LAB booklet
This is a booklet which I use with Drama students to complete an essay to compare and contrast the three performance works studied for LAA.
Each paragraph has a WAGOLL and sentence starters to assist them!
BTEC Performing Arts Comp 3 booklet
This is a booklet I have used with Drama students to support the written elements of component 3 (A1, A2,A4) .
It offers students a WAGOLL for each activity and also references the assessment criteria.
Drama charades!
This is an interactive game/activity which I use to develop characterisation and cooperation skills!
Instructions of how to play are included The students really enjoy it!
