In this online training course we'll give a definition of Assessment for Learning (AFL), outlining the different types of AFL. We'll discuss the links between planning and AFL, looking at how pupils are assessed both in and outside the classroom. We'll explore the importance of questioning and differentiation in AFL and look at how we assess progress in the classroom and set targets for pupils' improvement. We'll examine forms of assessment and major changes in assessment in the UK at the present time and over previous years.
