Values and vision
Al Maha Academy for Girls wants all students to benefit from a high quality education in a welcoming, friendly and nurturing learning environment. The all-through school is committed to developing girls and their individual talents, skills and interests, wanting to nurture the ‘whole child.’ The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum using a wide range of teaching methods to appeal to different types of learners. It is vital to the school that all students fulfil their potential and gain in confidence, self-awareness and self-esteem throughout their education. The school wants girls to leave as caring, responsible and respectful members of society who will contribute their skills and experience positively to society. Al Maha Academy for Girls aims to enhance students awareness and appreciation of other cultures, so that they are open and accepting to everyone. The school works to develop a solid partnership between parents and teachers so that students feel supported and nurtured throughout their learning both at school and at home. Extra-curricular activities are organised for students to get involved in and nurture their skills outside the classroom, including an active School Council, where leadership and teamwork is practiced.
