Brownedge St Mary's Catholic High School

Brownedge St Mary's Catholic High School is a mixed, Roman Catholic voluntary aided state secondary school for pupils aged 11-16. 

It is operated by Lancashire County Council and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Salford. The school is located in Bamber Bridge, Preston.

Brownedge St Mary's Catholic High School’s motto is: “Let Your Light Shine.” It’s values, inspired by the Gospel, focus on the school’s shared responsibility to create an environment of love, respect and welcome for all members of the school community. 

The school aspires to develop what it calls the “unique gifts and talents of all”, and strives for excellence in everything it does. Brownedge St Mary’s hopes to live out  its commitment to service, love and justice in both the local and global communities, and nurture a journey of faith and discovery for all its students.

The school celebrates and reflects on the love of God, which it says is at the heart of all the school is. It recognises and respects the spiritual diversity of its learning community, and promotes a positive culture of openness to enquiry.
