About Campion School and Language College
Campion School and Language College in Bugbrooke, Near Northampton, is a co-educational secondary school. It became a Language College in September 1997 and an academy in 2011.
The school adopts the latest teaching pedagogy and staff engage in an internal teaching and learning development programme called “XL” (Leading to Excellent Teaching). A continual evaluation cycle measures the effectiveness of Campion School’s work and identifies the next steps to be taken to ensure continuous improvement in all areas of teaching and learning.
To ensure that all students in the sixth form are challenged an motivated, the latest equipment for interactive lessons is utilised.
Values and vision
“Success through respect, skills, learning and achievement” are the words used to sum up the school’s ethos. It sets high expectations and aims to encourage and support students to become caring, confident, independent young people who value their education and are ambitious for their future.
