Conifers School

An independent nursery and preparatory school for girls and boys, ages 2-13.

Conifers has a unique ethos based on an established but adaptable formula that has characterised the school throughout its 75 year history: providing nursery and preparatory education in a small, secure, intimate and nurturing environment, we produce wonderfully confident, happy, well-rounded and successful children. Natural character and individuality flourish whilst supported by those intrinsic family values we believe to be as relevant in today's highly competitive and fragmented society as they have always been.

We produce high academic standards by identifying, tailoring, encouraging and rewarding the specific needs and talents of every child and have an enviable record of entry into first choice senior schools - Downe House, St Swithun's, St Catherine's Bramley, Seaford College, Heathfield, Churchers College and St Mary's Ascot.

We also offer superb art, drama and music, and an excellent range of sports for boys and girls. We have a new sixth form block, ICT facilities and science laboratory, and offer pre and after school care, extra curricular clubs and a drop in, drop out toddler group.

Conifers is a school where each child, as an individual, is given the chance to take part in all aspects of school life; a school where it is fun to learn and where lifelong friendships are formed.
