Values and vision
“I have come so that they may have life and have it to the full.”
Ellesmere Port Catholic High School places students at the heart of a community that promotes British values, has high expectations of everyone and promotes the dignity and worth of each person.
The secondary school is proud of its sixth-form programme and works to provide excellent teaching, helping students to achieve their highest ambitions. Current priorities include meeting targets for GCSE and BTEC results and achieving an 80% pass rate in all areas over the next two years.
“Outstanding leadership provided by the inspirational, dedicated headteacher has been the impetus to rapid improvement. A comprehensive programme of training has driven profound improvement in the overall quality of teaching. Across the school, there is the widely shared hunger for further improvement.”
