About Goresbrook School

Do you want to be part of a team that is creating a transformational all-through school? Do you believe that every young person has the potential to gain an A* at A-level, and go on to rigorous academic study in a highly competitive University? If so, join Goresbrook School.

Goresbrook School opened in September 2014, with three classes of Reception children, and has made a tremendous progress. As a new all-through school, Goresbrook has a rare opportunity to innovate, and create a superb, continuous learning experience for children from 3-18 years. Our Primary school opened in September 2014, and our Secondary school opened in September 2016.

We have the children; we have the brand new state-of-the-art building; we now need you! If you are passionate about your subject, and are excited by rigorous and innovative curriculum design, we are the school for you. You are very welcome to visit us, even if you don’t end up applying for the post. We are 20 minutes on the tube from Mile End, and just 15 minutes’ drive from East London. We love to have people visit, to participate in children’s learning and see what we offer our children.

What people say about us

‘The school really does 'see the best in everyone' and I am honoured to be part of an ever growing school community. I am excited to see what the future holds. This is all thanks to Goresbrook School. The school that can make all your dreams a reality!’

- Shanice Bradshaw, Learning Mentor

‘Goresbrook School has a deeply embedded ethos for continued professional development. I receive weekly training and mentoring sessions which allow me to reflect on my teaching practise, as well as develop and gain new skills and knowledge that I am able to apply to the classroom.’

- Rasheeda Khanom, Teacher

‘I have found it invaluable to work in an environment where reflective practice is so highly valued and change and risk taking is embraced. It has meant I have learnt a great deal, changed much of what I thought and have become a better teacher and leader as a result.’

- Megan Harris, Principal
