About Joseph Rowntree School
Joseph Rowntree School is a co-educational voluntary controlled school based in York for students aged 11-18.
The school has over 1,200 students, with approximately 250 in the sixth form.
At the school, students have opportunities to experience different cultures through American, French and German exchanges. Annual Business Studies trips abroad, as well as trips to Auschwitz and Majdanek, are also meant to enhance learning opportunities.
