About Nottingham Academy
Nottingham Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school situated in Sneinton Boulevard, Nottingham. The academy has a ‘schools within a school’ model and has two other sites: Greenwood Road and Ransom Road, together offering 3,780 places for students between the ages of 3-19.
Nottingham Academy opened in 2009. The school belongs to Greenwood Academies Trust along with 33 other academies across the UK.
Values and vision
Nottingham Academy wants to ensure that all students gain the best possible education in a calming and nurturing learning environment. It wishes for students to work to the best of their ability and achieve excellence. The secondary school wishes to provide children with a varied curriculum and aims to offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities for them to get involved in, ranging from sports to and performing arts to homework clubs. Nottingham Academy strives to build a solid partnership where pupils, parents and staff work together to achieve excellence.
