About Queensway

Background:

Queensway is now part of an Academy through the Learning Community Trust, based in Telford. We are part of a family of schools working together to ensure the best outcomes for the students in our care. The school has expanded and is now on two sites; one in Hadley, Queensway North and the other in Dawley, Queensway South.

Headteacher:

Mr Nigel Griffiths

Queensway South

Queensway South, previously known as Mount Gilbert, has recently joined us under the Queensway name.

Queensway South caters for young people with a diagnosis of social, emotional and behavioural difficulties with additional complex needs such as Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD).

Students can join us from Year 5 in our Primary Phase and remain with us until leaving in Year 11.

Queensway South caters for young people with a diagnosis of social, emotional and behavioural difficulties with additional complex needs such as on either the school's own minibus or private taxis.
