About Radnor House

Radnor House Twickenham is a selective coeducational day school of 425 pupils aged 9-18 that enjoys a stunning location on the banks of the River Thames. It is easy to reach by public transport with mainline train services to and from Twickenham or Strawberry Hill stations and a plethora of bus services available. All pupils have access to first-rate sporting facilities nearby at Teddington Cricket Club and St Mary’s University. As part of Dukes Education, we enjoy the benefits of close links to several schools in the area and the opportunities of being part of a forward-thinking and dynamic group.

The school was judged as ‘Excellent’ in all categories in its latest ISI inspection in February 2020, with the inspectors commenting on… "The quality of the pupils’ academic and other achievements, and the quality of their personal development, is excellent." "Pupils’ attitudes to learning are outstanding and they are highly productive in individual, group and whole class activities, within an inclusive and supportive environment."

Our pupils thrive in small classes with a strong focus on individual attention. We prefer encouragement to pressure. We stretch, challenge and support every child through inspirational teaching, proactive pastoral care and a wide range of co-curricular activities, including a dynamic and exciting performing arts programme.

A top-quality education and a friendly atmosphere combine to create an exceptional environment with proven outcomes of success, where happy children enjoy a busy, enriched school life supported by an actively involved parent community.

Our core values of courage, excellence, perseverance and respect permeate everything we do. We create every opportunity for the children to develop teamwork, co-operation and diplomacy, to fine-tune their emotional intelligence, both in the classroom and beyond.

Parents

“Ever since our son joined the school in September, we've been impressed with the way Radnor builds a community of pupils and parents.”

“It's a lovely school where all children excel in different aspects and the core values are uphold throughout.”

“Academic success comes as an almost inevitable consequence of feeling valued and respected. Moreover, the visibly happy environment couldn’t possibly differ more from the stressful ones in most hothouses. I couldn’t recommend Radnor House more highly”

A good school is not one which chases a league table, but rightly seeks to add value to every aspect of a child's education and aims to develop a genuine love of learning
