About Riverside College - Kingsway Campus
Riverside College is a mixed, non-denominational further education and tertiary college for students aged 16 and over. Its Kingsway campus is located in Widnes, Cheshire.
The college was founded in 2006 after a merger between Halton College and Widnes & Runcorn Sixth Form College. The Kingsway campus is one of the college’s three sites and is close to Widnes town centre.
Riverside College offers a range of educational options to students, including professional courses, apprenticeships, adult learning courses and higher education.

Staff aim to deliver the very best teaching, along with a broad range of enrichment activities. Personal tutors and teachers care about their students’ progress and hope to foster a friendly, safe and caring environment.
Riverside College wishes to create a community on campus where all students can flourish and feel valued.

Clear progression routes are in place at all levels, with a range of academic or vocational programmes preparing students well for their next step. The design of programmes includes an appropriate focus to improve students’ skills in English and mathematics and more students are studying these subjects than previously.”

Location
The tutors at Riverside College are extra helpful and incredibly friendly. The College has a lot of partnerships with prestigious companies including Steiner, the main provider of salons on board all the major cruise companies. This partnership has helped me to gain employment with them.
