About Robert Barclay Academy

Robert Barclay Academy is part of the highly successful Scholar’s Education Trust. We are a comprehensive 11-18 secondary school in which students make positive progress and our A Level results place us in the top 25% of schools nationally for the progress they make. Resources are good, and we place an emphasis on ensuring teachers have everything they need to teach their lessons effectively.

We value our staff and provide a personalised CPD offer, including the opportunity to work with colleagues from the other Trust secondary and primary schools.

Robert Barclay Academy is situated on a green and leafy site near Hoddesdon town centre, with good links both by road and rail (the trainline from Broxbourne station is a ten minute walk away and runs from the north into central London). We have approximately 700 students on roll, with over 100 in the Sixth Form.

Our school values are ACE: Achievement, Care and Excellence.
