Shenzhen Fuyuan School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, bilingual, independent all-through school with sixth form in China, serving students from the age of 4-18. The all-through school is situated in Shenzhen, Guangdong. The school consists of a kindergarten, primary school, secondary school and International college, with other 4,200 students and teachers on record.
Shenzhen Fuyuan School was founded in 1999. It has a large library with over 80,000 books, along with a pottery hall, arts and culture campus. The school focuses on creating a stimulating English environment where pupils can engage in language practice and feel inspired to learn.
Values and vision
Shenzhen Fuyuan School wants all students to feel inspired to achieve to the highest of their ability in a stimulating and welcoming learning environment. The all-through school aspires to offer a culture-based education in a modern building, where pupils can strengthen their knowledge, learn new skills and develop as individuals. Dedicated teaching staff work to get to know each child and help them to uncover and nurture their unique skills and talents throughout their school years. Teachers places a strong emphasis on martial arts, with Wushu being a compulsory mode of study for pupils in primary school. It is important to the school that students have a solid understanding of the sport, with it being used to improve their personal development and self-defense ability, while at the same time enhancing their physique and overall physical and mental health development. Parents are encouraged to play an active role in their children’s education so that all pupils benefit from a solid support system throughout their school life.
