Founded in 1978, SIS is a leading international, co-educational day and boarding school. We are an all-through IB school offering the PYP, MYP and Diploma programmes. We are an inclusive community offering English language and special educational needs support throughout the school where required. Sotogrande International School launched its new San Roque Campus in September 2013. A beautiful second campus that acts as a home for the school's boarding students. This new addition to the school is a result of increased demand for boarding places from around the world.

SIS is fully accredited by CIS and NEASC. Our programme is fully convalidated by the Spanish Ministry of Education, allowing our IB diploma graduates direct access to Spanish universities as well as those in the UK and the USA. This unique combination provides independent, external assurance of the quality of education at SIS.  In addition, the school's own NGO operates from the main campus and offers all our students the opportunities for active leadership and service learning, both in the local community and in the wider world.
